Beach Comber Song

This is all I remember of this song, it may also be called "The Wanderer". I know that it can be sung as a three-part round. Typically it was sung by starting out softly and then getting louder with each round and then fading away with the final rounds like someone walking past you on the beach. Unfortunately I don't have the music
