Popovers
Popovers were part of the traditional Sunday morning breakfast for us
when we were growing up. They are best served hot with lots of butter
and jam.

35 minutes |

Temp - Oven: |
450° F (preheated) |

Equipment: |
Mixing bowl |
4 - 10 oz. Custard Cups |
|
|
Ingredients: |
1 Cup Milk |
1 Cup Flour |
2 Eggs (Large) |
1/4 Tsp. Salt |
1 Tbs. Butter (Melted) |

Preparation: |
- Beat Eggs thoroughly
- Add Milk and Salt to eggs and mix thoroughly
- Add Flour and Butter and mix thoroughly
- Refrigerate batter until use
- Preheat oven

Baking: |
- Grease insides of custard cups
- Mix batter if needed and fill each cup 2/3 to 3/4 full
- Bake for 15 minutes at 450° F
- Reduce heat to 350° F and bake for additional 20 minutes
- Serve immediately
Popovers can be reheated by placing in a brown paper bag in a 350°
F oven for 15 minutes
