Kifli Nut Filling
Kifli is a traditional Hungarian cookie. It can be filled with either
a fruit or a nut filling. The recipes provided here are for the Dough,
an Apricot Filling, and a Nut Filling.
This nut filling can be made using any type of nuts. We have typically
used Walnuts.

| Ingredients: |
| 2 LB Ground Nuts |
1 Cup Sugar |
| 1 Cup Water |
3 Egg Yolks |
| 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon |
Zest from 1/2 Lemon
|
| 1/2 Cup White Raisins (Chopped) |

| Preparation: |
- Mix water and sugar and bring to a boil
- Add nut to mixture and boil for 5 minutes
- Mix in remaining ingredients and let cool

| Baking/Cooking: |
- Once mixture is cool it can be used or stored
