Data Collection
For a given project, information is collected from a variety of sources,
including; Subject Matter Experts, Marketing, Product Evaluators, Users,
and hands-on exposure.
To collect the data it is necessary to identify the product, what information
is needed (the type of document to be created) and what the sources of
that information are. The information can then be collected by using a
series of interviews and hands-on exposure.
Once the data is collected it must be organized and restructured so that
it can be understood by the target audience.
